  "Holy Grounds Coffeehouse", open seasonally (at writing: Monday — Saturday, 8:30 - 11am), provides coffee and what any hotel would call a continental breakfast to anyone who may happen to show up. Daily newspapers typically include the Mankato Free Press and the Minneapolis Star Tribune. The church's library is typically open, has a respectable selection of recent magazines, and will even allow newcomers to check out books simply for the asking. On the whole, it's an enjoyable and welcoming place to be for coffee, conversation, and study, in addition to being a veritable nexus of activity for a wide range of community service, nonprofit, and religious organizations.
